My Teeny Tiny Jungle in Washington, D.C.

Description

Hi! I’m Nick. I started collecting plants to fill a void left by the loss of family. One plant, over the course of two years, has turned into a collection of 160+ houseplants. They gave me something to pour into and even led to me starting a business. I found a sense of community on Instagram. The plant community has taught me so much and I’ve made some wonderful friends along the way. Plants have given me so much. They’ve taught me more than I ever anticipated. I’m grateful to have discovered the joy that plants provide. What started as a hobby has turned into a way of life for me. Everyone should own plants or start a garden. It’s the gift that keeps on giving!
